Reselling tickets in the marketplace

Posting tickets is quick and easy and is controlled from your order confirmation page.

1. Scroll down to the the end of your order confirmation page and click the "Transfer Your Tickets" link. Your order confirmation page can be accessed via your original ticket purchase email (click here if you’ve lost the email).
2. Select “Resell” along with “Marketplace”.
3. Select the tickets you’d like to post for sale.
4. Review the ticket’s posted price and the amount that you’ll be refunded.
5. Click the "List on marketplace now" button.
6. Once someone purchases your ticket we’ll cancel your originals, refund the purchase amount to your credit card (excluding fees) and issue new tickets to the buyer.
7. You’ll receive an email notification once the transaction is complete and we’ve initiated your refund. Note that refunds can take up to a week to appear on your credit card statement.

Tip: When selecting tickets to post for resale keep in mind that all tickets you select will need to be purchased together. If you think buyers might be more interested in single tickets consider posting tickets one at a time.

Until someone pays for the tickets you’ll have the option to remove them from the marketplace. This can be done from your order confirmation page. Once the recipient completes their payment the resale becomes permanent.

Tickets are always resold for the original ticket price (excluding any promo code discounts). When a resale is complete we will refund the original purchase amount excluding fees to the credit card that was first used to make the purchase.

If you simply want to give your tickets to someone else for free you may want to use our secure transfer system.

Which tickets are eligible?

Ticket resales are only available for certain ticket types and at certain times. For details about which tickets are eligible please contact the event organizer.

Purchasing marketplace tickets

Simply search for the tickets you’d like and select “buy”. Once you’ve paid you’ll receive an email and link to your order confirmation page. That’s it – the tickets are yours!

Tickets are bundled together by the seller. If the seller has posted multiple tickets together you’ll need to buy all those tickets.

Tickets can be purchased through the marketplace one order at a time. If you’d like to buy tickets from different sellers you will need to place separate orders for each.
